Kansans for an Affordable Future is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to building a vibrant, sustainable, and affordable future for our state and its citizens. Our mission is to champion public policies that will promote economic prosperity and consumer-focused solutions for all Kansans.
Ensure public schools and universities provide the education Kansans need for the 21st century.
Work to improve long-term healthcare access, quality, and affordability.
Promote a tax system at all levels of government that is fair, affordable and will efficiently deliver the essential services wanted and needed by our citizens.
Support efforts to keep energy and utility costs as low and affordable as possible for citizens, consumers, and businesses.
Prioritize investments in smart, sustainable public policies that will lead to better infrastructure, a cleaner environment and adequate water resources necessary for an affordable future.
Reform state and local governments so they are more transparent and accountable to taxpayers and businesses while ensuring policies are more predictable and sensible.
Encourage improved voter participation in our elections and the value of having an informed electorate in order to ensure an affordable future for all Kansans.
